How to Enable Telnet Client in Windows 7- 8

It was unpleasant and nightmare for me on the day when I found that Windows 7 is not supporting the Telnet Client feature and HyperTerminal by default. I had to install these two utilities in my Windows OS. These two utilities are heavily used by the Computer Network Engineer. Unfortunately, we have to install them in Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Here is how to enable/install Telnet client feature in Windows.

STEPs 1) Click on "Start Menu" 2) Click on "Control Panel" 3) Click on "Programs And Features" 4) Click on "Turn Windows features on or off" 5) Check "Telnet Client" 6) Press "OK" That is it. You have enabled the telnet feature and now you can use telnet command in Command Prompt.
